July 17, 2014 – Salt Lake County is seeking applicants to fill five positions in its 15 member Bicycle Advisory Committee. The committee (SLCBAC) reviews and offers input on all bicycle-related proposals and projects, working closely with the Mayor’s office and other County departments.
This is an exciting time to be engaged in cycling initiatives within the County. SLCBAC has a strategic plan in place, the County is providing more resources for staffing and infrastructure, and we all are dedicated to working together to make Salt Lake County a premiere cycling community. Interested citizens can attend meetings held at 5:30pm the first Wednesday of each month at the Salt Lake County Government Center at 2001 South State Street in room N-2003.
