Salt Lake City, UT. — Throughout October, thousands of Utah residents will have the opportunity to participate in an important survey which is sponsored by the Wasatch Front Regional Council (WFRC), Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG), the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), and the Utah Transit Authority (UTA).
The purpose of the walk/bike barriers survey is to better understand specific barriers to walking, biking, and other forms of active transportation along the Wasatch Front, including barriers for those with disabilities. This information will be used to identify impediments to active transportation, improve safety, prioritize projects, and better understand travel behavior for forecasting future active transportation needs.
This survey is open to anyone interested in participating. Widespread community feedback is anticipated. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete (and you can enter a drawing to win an iPad at the end of the survey!).
