Have you been curious about the green bikes that you see in downtown Salt Lake City? If so, then September 24th is your chance to try one out for free.

Salt Lake City’s Greenbike Bike Share program is offering a free day on Tuesday, September 24th. The code 123 will give users a free membership for the day.  A membership allows a rider to use a bike for free for up to 30 minutes. The system is designed around short trips in the downtown area. Riders may pick up a bike at any station and drop it off at any station – if this is done within 30 minutes, no usage fees will incur.

Bike Share is not a bike rental program, but rather a way to make shorter trips without the need of a car or transit. Memberships in Salt Lake City’s program are $5/24 hours, $15/7-days, or $75/year (which includes a Bern helmet).
