Tour de Lava to be held June 3, 2023 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho

Lava Hot Springs, IDAHO — RideonDads, a non-profit organization, will be promoting the Tour de Lava on June 3, 2023.

The ride raises funds for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation for prostate cancer research.

Held in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, the ride will go through the beautiful Portneuf Mountain Range foothills in Southeast Idaho. Starting near Lava Hot Springs it will go past Whiskey Mike’s to Bancroft and then north to historical Chesterfield and then back through the Toponce Creek drainage along the upper reaches of the Portneuf River and back to Portneuf Bend Campground. The Tour de Lava is one of the most scenic and enjoyable rides in Southern Idaho. Ride 16, 34, or 52 miles or 100 Km. Registration fee $50. The first 150 to register get a custom event T shirt. Road support, Feed Stations provided by Barrie’s Ski and Sports. A post ride meal will be provided by Pebble Creek Ski Area with live music by Marly. All riders are welcome including tandem and e-bikes.

RideonDads is a non-profit organization whose goal is threefold: 1. Awareness–1 in 9 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. 2. Testing–To encourage men over 50 years of age to get a simple PSA test from their doctor or health provider to detect prostate cancer in the early stages to avoid advanced prostate cancer. 3. Research–to raise money for prostate cancer research at the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. RideonDads is proud to present the Tour De Lava bike ride in an effort to advance the three goals stated above.

Ride for the Cure with RideonDads on June 3rd, 2023. The ride begins at Portneuf Bend Campground, 9250 South Blazer HWY, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. To register go to RideonDads.com or register on site beginning at 6AM. Ride starts at 8AM.
