BMX racing is alive and kicking in Salt Lake City every Tuesday night at Rad Canyon BMX in West Jordan, UT. The track is located at 5200 West Old Bingham Hwy, straight out 90th South and left at Interstate Brick.
Rad Canyon is an ABA sanctioned track. Sign-ups are from 6-7 p.m. with racing starting at 7:30. Practice is held Monday and Thursday nights at 6 p.m. Everybody is welcome so come out to watch or race!
The Great Salt Lake Nationals is happening this weekend June 5-7. Also held will be the Pioneer King of the Dirt Jumping Contest (to be aired on FOX Rocky Mountain Sports Network later this year). Check schedule for more events.

Officials clinic set for June
USCF District Representative Cindy Yorgason has changed the second clinic for the district from Saturday, June 13 to Sunday, June 14. All current officials are required to attend a clinic annually. If you did not attend the one held in Ogden in February, or one in another state, you should plan on attending this one to meet the standard requirements to maintain your official's license.
The clinic will begin at 9:00 A.M. at the HP Women's Challenge Office in Boise. It should last approximately 3 hours. There will be a test at the conclusion for each category.

Utah TT date will change
USCF District Representative Cindy Yorgason plans to reschedule the Utah District Time Trial Championship to avoid conflict with the Twilight Criterium in Boise on August 1.
A possible date is July 25. cycling utah will announce the new TT date when available.

Swindlehurst claims Iron Horse crown
Utah pro Burke Swindlehurst (Nutra Fig) won a five-up sprint into Silverton, Colo. to claim the Iron Horse Classic Road Race on May 23. No stranger to the winner's podium, Swindlehurst has now won the Iron Horse two times, the first being in 1995. After climbing the 10,900 foot Coal Bank Pass, a group of five raced toward the finish in the small mining town of Silverton. Swindlehurst followed the leadout of Scott Price and crossed the line ahead of Price, Mike Engleman, Ned Overend and Ryan Miller, respectively. Tammy Jacques (Schwinn/ Toyota RAV4) claimed the Women's title.
