The USA Crits, one of the top road racing series in the US, will host the final event of the series at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday September 19, 2013 in conjunction with Interbike.
Utah racers Tiffany Pezzulo, Kat Carr, Kaytie Scott, and Amber Brown will compete in the women’s pro race. Idaho’s Heather Albert will also compete.
Pezzulo currently sits 4th overall in the series. She races for Primal Pro Women’s Cycling Team, p/b BH Bicycles.
2012 Collegiate Road Champion, Cortlan Brown appears to be the sole starter from Utah in the Men’s Pro event.
The series is currently being led by Hilton Clarke (UnitedHealthCare Pro Cycling) on the men’s side and Erica Allar (Care4Cycling p/b Solomon) on the women’s side.
The racing starts at 6 pm with the Industry Cup followed by the women’s finals at 7 pm and the men’s finals at 8:30.
