Young Endurance Athletes (YEA) of Utah has been working to support junior cycling over the past five years. YEA of Utah is an organization that is helping get juniors started in the sport of cycling and racing. YEA has been providing cycling grants to help get young athletes to competitions they otherwise might be unable to attend.

ConsultNet LLC (a premier information technology and engineering consulting company), is also dedicated to supporting the local community. ConsultNet and YEA of Utah have partnered to offer three thousand dollars in cycling grants for the 2014 season. The cycling grants will be awarded up to ten junior athletes up to $300 dollars each. Juniors will need to go through the application process by filling out an application and submitting it by Sunday May 11, 2014 in either electronic or hard form. Finalists will be chosen by a panel that will review the applications and winners will be chosen by the quality of their application and need of financial assistance. The applicant pool will be narrowed down to a number of finalists; the finalists will be invited to participate in a phone interview. The grant will then be able to be used for the 2014-2015 season. YEA and ConsultNet LLC are excited to continue this tradition!

To receive the application please contact Nate Thomas at (801) 957-3835 or [email protected]
